On September 27, a three-member delegation from Jingyan Yinong (Beijing) Seed Technology Co., Ltd. visited Qingdao International Seeds Co., Ltd. for inspection and exchange. The delegation was led by Mr. Wen Changlong, Party Branch Secretary and Director of the Vegetable Research Institute, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, and also Chairman of Jingyan Yinong; accompanied by Mr. Zhang Hailong, Deputy General Manager; and Mr. Niu Jingliang, Leaf and Root Vegetable Manager.

The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on joint expansion in the seed business. Chairman Wen Changlong highly affirmed Qingdao International Seeds' brand influence and international business layout, built upon 35 years of development. Chairman Wang Wei introduced that since its establishment in 1990 as a joint venture between Qingdao Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Japanese enterprises, the company has constructed a complete industry chain integrating breeding, propagation, and marketing. Its flagship "Qinmeng" brand Chinese cabbage and cucumber varieties now cover 23 provinces nationwide and are steadily exported to Japan, South Korea, Russia, and other countries.

Both sides concurred that Jingyan Yinong, as a national seed industry array enterprise, has cultivated numerous benchmark varieties—such as the small watermelon "Jingmei 2K" and melon "Dumi No. 5"—each achieving annual sales exceeding 10 million yuan or cultivation areas reaching 700,000 mu. With outstanding advantages in high-quality variety R&D and domestic promotion, Jingyan Yinong's strengths highly complement Qingdao International Seeds' channel capabilities. Moving forward, the two parties will take specific variety cooperation as an entry point, deepen synergies, and accelerate the implementation of practical collaborations to achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.
